 Michael Schmitt, CEO Mr. Schmitt has over twenty-five years experience in the enterprise software industry, with a proven track record for success, growing and positioning enterprise software companies to achieve long-term profitability and market leadership. He has held executive management positions at Ariba and JD Edwards and has served on the board of a private company.Most recently, Mr. Schmitt served as Ariba’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, helping to develop and implement Ariba’s turnaround strategy and corporate repositioning to Spend Management. Simultaneous to his tenure at Ariba, Mr. Schmitt served as a board member at Camstar, a leader in manufacturing execution application software. Prior to Ariba, he enjoyed an eight year career at JD Edwards (now Oracle), where he held the positions of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing; Vice President, General Manager, Central European Operations; and Vice President, General Manager, West Area. Mr. Schmitt received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California. Bradley P. Allen, Founder and CTO Mr. Allen began his career as a member of the research staff at
Carnegie-Mellon's Robotics Institute. In 1984, he joined Inference Corporation
where he created Inference CBR, one of the first CRM problem resolution
products. He left Inference in 1995 to co-found Limbex Corporation where he
created WebCompass, an Internet search tool that won Best Of Show at COMDEX
Fall '95. Quarterdeck Corporation acquired Limbex in 1996. In 1997, Mr. Allen
co-founded TriVida Corporation and served as CTO until TriVida's acquisition by
Be Free, Inc. in March 2000. Mr. Allen earned a BS in applied mathematics from Carnegie-Mellon University in
1982, and has been awarded four U.S. patents. Reza M. Kazemipour, Chief Revenue Officer Reza Kazemipour brings more than 16 years experience in corporate strategy and business development, strategic alliance relationship management, and sales. He has a proven track record for leadership and for negotiating partnerships and mergers and acquisitions that position enterprise software companies for long-term growth. He has held executive management positions at Fast Search & Transfer, Cerebra and IBM. Before joining Siderean, Mr. Kazemipour served as Fast Search & Transfer’s regional vice president of sales for the Western region. While at Fast, he grew the West coast sales organization and added substantial revenue to the company during his tenure. He developed sales strategies and coached his teams to expand business and penetrate many new, flagship customer accounts. Prior to Fast Search & Transfer, Mr. Kazemipour was vice president of OEM sales and strategic alliances at Cerebra, Inc. He identified, sold, and grew Cerebra’s OEM and alliance relationships based on market growth trends and new business requirements. He was also critical in bringing enterprise solutions to market leveraging system integration partners and he negotiated OEM and reseller contracts covering branding, distribution, pricing, support and marketing arrangements. Before Cerebra, Kazemipour was vice president, strategic channels at Selectica, Inc., where he expanded channel partnership opportunities that led to multi-million deals in his first five months, established growth-oriented business relationships leading to additional quarterly revenues, and negotiated and researched mergers and acquisitions and buy-out offers. Earlier in his career, he also worked on business development at IBM, responsible for selling software through and to system integrators, worked in strategic alliances at TIBCO Software, and in sales and marketing at Doclinx.com, an enterprise software company focused on data retrieval and search engine technology. Jack Berkowitz, VP Product Development Jack brings more than 18 years of experience in technology management and
development for the commercial and federal markets. As vice president of
engineering, Jack will be responsible for product development to fulfill
strategic, customer-centric objectives. Prior to joining Siderean, Berkowitz
spent four years at Cerebra, where he served as both vice president of
engineering and vice president of strategic alliances, developing strategies
for new market initiatives, product development and strategic partnerships.
Prior to Cerebra, Berkowitz led product development, professional services and
support initiatives for Reef, co-founded edapta, an Internet software company
that was acquired by Reef, and held senior engineering positions at MITRE
Corporation and Galaxy Scientific Corporation. Ivan Ivankovich, Vice President, Finance Mr. Ivankovich brings over 19 years of financial and operational expertise. Most recently, Mr. Ivankovich was managing director of VisionPoint Capital, a boutique Investment Bank advising clients in the middle market. Mr Ivankovich also served as chief financial officer of YellowPages.com, an on-line directory of national and local merchants. At YellowPages.com he managed and directed the company’s financial and operational initiatives. Mr. Ivankovich led and negotiated the merger of the company into a group led by two large telco’s (SBC and Bell South). Prior to YellowPages.com, Mr. Ivankovich served as vice president, portfolio operations with Platinum Equity, a global acquisition firm were he managed and operated certain of its portfolio companies. Mr. Ivankovich also served as a senior financial executive for two venture-backed companies, HealthAllies and Trivida Corporation, which was acquired by Befree Inc. (now part of ValueClick: VCLK). Mr. Ivankovich started his career with Ernst & Young in their audit practice in Los Angeles. A Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California Society of CPAs, he earned his B.A. in Business Economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |  |
